Japan's top health adviser Shigeru Omi said on Thursday the medical system would likely come under pressure if no additional steps were taken.

Omi was speaking after Japan declared another state of emergency over the rising number of coronavirus cases, roughly two weeks before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics open.
