Ladakh reports 28 new Covid cases

A total of 1,832 sample reports, including 1,106 from Leh and 726 from Kargil, were found negative, officials said.No Covid-related death was reported in Ladakh on Sunday.

Ladakh recorded 28 fresh COVID-19 cases on Monday that pushed the infection tally to 20,730, officials said. There are 134 active cases -- 131 in Leh and three in Kargil district, they said. Ladakh has recorded 207 Covid-related deaths -- 149 in Leh and 58 in Kargil -- since the outbreak of the pandemic last year.

Three patients of coronavirus were discharged from hospitals, taking the overall recoveries to 20,389, they said.
