Prataprao Jadhav Takes Helm of Ayush Ministry and Pledges Organ Donation

Shiv Sena MP Prataprao Jadhav on Tuesday took charge as the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ayush Ministry and as Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Health. Before assuming his new role, Jadhav planted a sapling at his residence and pledged to donate his organs, reflecting his dedication to public service and health.

With a rich political history, Jadhav has been a key figure in Maharashtra’s political landscape, serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for three terms from 1995 to 2009 and as Minister for Sports, Youth Welfare, and Irrigation between 1997 and 1999. His experience and commitment have earned him a respected place in national politics.

Elected to the Lok Sabha for four consecutive terms since 2009 from Buldhana constituency, Jadhav has chaired significant committees, including the Standing Committee on Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, and the Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology. His roles reflect his broad influence and leadership in various sectors.
