Congress general secretary K C Venugopal on Friday raised critical concerns with Health Minister J P Nadda regarding the impractical changes in NEET-PG examination centres for candidates from Kerala.

In a letter to Nadda, the Alappuzha MP highlighted the distressing plight of numerous NEET-PG aspirants who have faced a series of impractical and distressing changes regarding their examination centres and dates. Venugopal emphasized the need for immediate rectification as the repeated rescheduling has left candidates in a logistical nightmare.

The NEET-PG exam was initially set to take place on March 3, but has been postponed several times, most recently to August 11. Candidates were asked to select new centres on July 19, however, many from Kerala were allotted faraway locations like Andhra Pradesh. This last-minute change, coupled with heavy rains, floods, and landslides in Kerala, has made travel exceedingly difficult, highlighting the urgent need for a resolution.
