Punjab Industrialist Donates Rs 21 Crore to TTD's Medical Trust

A Punjab industrialist, Rajinder Gupta, has donated Rs 21 crore to the SV Pranadana Trust, a charitable initiative by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) providing free medical care to the poor. The donation was handed over to TTD's additional executive officer in the presence of Gupta's family.

Rajinder Gupta, a renowned industrialist from Punjab, has made a generous donation of Rs 21 crore to the SV Pranadana Trust. The Trust, managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), focuses on offering free medical treatment to underprivileged patients battling life-threatening ailments.

According to a statement released by the temple body, “Rajinder Gupta has donated Rs 21 crore towards SV Pranadana Trust of TTD.” Accompanied by his family members, Gupta handed over the donation cheque to TTD additional executive officer, Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.

The SV Pranadana Trust scheme is operational at various TTD-run hospitals, including their maternity hospital, providing much-needed relief to poor patients.
