Universal Sompo General Insurance and SOMPO CARE Inc. have taken a significant step toward global healthcare enhancement by initiating a strategic collaboration, aligning with the Skill India Mission.
The project, set to commence in August 2024, involves providing nine months of intensive training to Indian nursing care personnel. Upon completing the training, these individuals will qualify as specified skilled workers for SOMPO CARE facilities in Japan.
This collaboration aims to create employment opportunities for skilled Indian professionals while addressing the global shortage of qualified nursing staff. The initiative underscores Universal Sompo and SOMPO CARE's commitment to raising healthcare standards and bridging service gaps internationally.
