Over 120 people, including women and children, were hospitalised due to food poisoning after consuming items made from contaminated buckwheat flour in Mathura's Farah area. Officials confirmed on Tuesday.

A team from the District Food and Drug Administration has raided and sealed the shops of two vendors who supplied the contaminated flour. A case has been registered against them, officials added.

The incident, reported in several villages of Farah police station area, saw all victims stable after experiencing symptoms such as vomiting, dizziness, and shivering. The affected individuals were fasting on the occasion of Janmashtami.
