Tragic Snakebite Incident Claims Lives of Three Siblings in Odisha

Three siblings died from snakebites in Chariyapali village, Tikarpada panchayat area in Odisha's Boudh district. Their father, also bitten, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. The victims were identified as Smrutirekha Mallik (12), Subharekha Mallik (nine), and Survi Mallik (three).

In a tragic incident in Odisha's Boudh district, three siblings succumbed to snakebites, police reported on Monday.

The fatal event occurred on Sunday night in Chariyapali village within the Tikarpada panchayat area.

The young victims were identified as Smrutirekha Mallik (12), Subharekha Mallik (nine), and Survi Mallik (three), according to police officials.

Their father also suffered a snakebite and is currently being treated at a local hospital, authorities added.
