AIIMS Delhi Emerges as Robotics Surgery Training Hub; Celebrates Legacy of Medical Excellence

AIIMS Delhi is poised to become India's largest center for robotic surgery training, equipped with advanced robotic surgery tools exclusively for surgeon training, announced Union Minister of State for Health Prataprao Jadhav on Wednesday.
Speaking at AIIMS Delhi's 69th Foundation Day, Jadhav praised the institution for its pivotal role in medical education, research, and healthcare, lauding its ongoing legacy of excellence. He emphasized AIIMS' top ranking in India's National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) for seven consecutive years.
Jadhav outlined several initiatives, including AIIMS' designation as the National Resource Centre of the National Medical College Network and the recent launch of the National Learning Management and Information System, SAKSHYAM. He highlighted AIIMS' new AI Centre of Excellence, aimed at using artificial intelligence for medical diagnostics, and discussed upcoming infrastructural expansions, research projects, and academic advancements.
