PTC Indian Financial Services (PFS), a uniquely placed infrastructure finance company, today launched three Mobile Health Clinics (MHCs) to provide medical outreach services to the underprivileged in the rural and remote areas of the Delhi NCR region. The mobile clinics were flagged off by Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Power in the presence of Shri Deepak Amitabh IRS, Chairman & Managing Director, PTC India, Dr. Pawan Singh, MD & CEO, PFS, other dignitaries and senior management officials of the company.

The initiative, in partnership with PTC Foundation Trust and Hindustan Latex Family Promotion Trust (HLFPPT), will provide free medical check-ups, basic medication, and healthcare facilities to the large underprivileged community with limited access to good quality medical support and hospital care.

The three MHCs with diagnostic equipment will be capable of basic tests for Diabetes, Dengue, and ECG. Each MHC will also come equipped with a running pharmacy for basic medicines and consumables. Specialized medical services for Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, ENT, and Dental etc. will also be arranged periodically. The initiative also has tie-ups with some Govt. Hospitals so that cases of serious ailments can be referred to them.

On the occasion of unveiling ceremony, Dr. Pawan Singh, MD & CEO, PFS, said, "This initiative will not only address pressing needs of the people but it will also serve as an educational platform where citizens are made aware of the Do's and Don'ts of proper and better hygiene, etc. The MHCs would organize health awareness and hygiene camps for the local school children and the street food vendors. With each MHCs equipped with basic diagnostic hardware and a running pharmacy, it is well equipped to handle basic health issues and illnesses."

The MHCs will be stationed at locations in Delhi where a large population of the underprivileged population of the city lives, like Nangloi, Seelampur, Jaidpur Extn, Mundka etc.
