Union Minister Anupriya Patel highlights India's healthcare evolution as essential for achieving the 2047 developed nation vision. In a bid to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, healthcare must be prioritized, according to Union Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel. Speaking at a Lady Hardinge Medical College event, Patel emphasized that 'Healthy India' extends beyond being mere promises; it is essential for national development.

Patel praised the Lady Hardinge Medical College for its historic contributions and recognized its role in women's empowerment through medical education. Highlighting government efforts to boost healthcare accessibility, she noted achievements like the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which provides coverage for 55 crore citizens.

Pointing to critical government initiatives, Patel addressed India's comprehensive approach to healthcare, the enhancement of basic medical infrastructure, and the promotion of healthcare as a shared national responsibility. Patel concluded by urging medical students to innovate and contribute to healthcare advancements, thereby supporting India's 2047 vision.
