Haryana Pioneers Health Reforms and Blood Donation Initiatives

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the state's commitment to enhancing health services, including modernizing facilities and promoting blood donations. His remarks came during the inauguration of the 'Golden Jubilee Transcon 2025', the 50th annual conference by the Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology (ISBTI).
Saini highlighted the operational status of 149 blood banks, with a goal to collect 3.3 lakh units of blood this year. He proudly noted Haryana's emergence as a leader in voluntary blood donation, likening it to the state's industrial success.
Cooperation Minister Arvind Sharma supported Saini's views, pointing to the active participation in the 'Seva Pakhwada' initiative and the expanding healthcare coverage for 45 lakh families under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The state has also prioritized building medical colleges to enhance healthcare opportunities.
