AIIMS Majra Set to Revolutionize Healthcare in Rewari by 2026
AIIMS Majra is under construction in Rewari district, set to open its OPD by March 2026, according to Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh. The 750-bed hospital will begin medical classes next year. It is being built on 210 acres, costing Rs 1,700 crore, with plans to expand its MBBS program.

Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh conducted a review on Saturday of the construction progress at AIIMS Majra, located in Rewari district. He instructed officials to ensure that the outpatient department is functional by March 2026.
Singh emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards during construction and urged the timely finalization of faculty appointments. The medical institute is poised to commence classes in the upcoming academic year.
Also on the agenda was a railway overbridge project, which Singh insisted should begin shortly. The AIIMS facility, costing Rs 1,700 crore, will feature 750 beds and plans to increase its initial MBBS intake from 50 to 100 students.
