The Delhi government's drugs control department uncovered serious violations during a surprise raid on ten medicine firms in Nangloi, as per a statement released Saturday.
This operation, spearheaded by Health Minister Pankaj Singh, is a part of a larger enforcement drive targeting drug retailers in the region. Twelve retailers were inspected, and violations were found in ten firms.
A total of 49 drug samples were collected to undergo quality testing, with strict actions promised under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Singh emphasized their commitment to public health safety, stating that no substandard or counterfeit medicines would be tolerated in Delhi.
