The Haryana government has taken a significant step in expanding healthcare facilities for state employees and pensioners by partnering with four renowned hospitals in Punjab. Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced on Tuesday that this initiative aims to provide advanced treatment options for serious ailments such as cancer and spinal injuries.

Among the empanelled facilities are the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Mullanpur, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Sangrur, the Regional Spinal Injuries Centre in Mohali, and the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Mohali. These institutions are equipped to deliver specialized care requiring sophisticated hospital settings.

This collaboration comes as a proactive measure by the Haryana government to ensure comprehensive and timely treatment for its employees and pensioners, especially during emergencies or high patient volume situations. In such cases, these Punjab hospitals will extend critical services such as ambulances and ICU units, as per the statement from the Haryana Health Department.
