Delhi Hospitals Pioneer Specialized Medical Training

The Delhi government plans to introduce specialized medical training programs at Guru Teg Bahadur and Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospitals to enhance healthcare education and services. These initiatives include a gynaecological oncology fellowship and a Diplomate of National Board course in family medicine, aiming to boost the healthcare workforce in the city.

The Delhi government is set to launch two specialized medical training programs at prominent hospitals to bolster healthcare education and services, an official statement has revealed.

Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital will host a gynaecological oncology fellowship, while Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital will introduce a Diplomate of National Board primary course in family medicine. These initiatives aim to strengthen the healthcare workforce and improve access to quality medical services in Delhi.

Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh expressed the government's commitment to enhance both education and patient care infrastructure, stating that these proposals are under review by an expert committee for approval.
