The state of Karnataka has unveiled an AI-enabled monitoring system to heighten patient safety and improve treatment quality within its public-private partnership dialysis program. According to Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, this technological advancement places the state's healthcare services on par with private standards.

The system, developed by NephroPlus and launched at KC General Hospital in Bengaluru, focuses on real-time monitoring of crucial dialysis treatment parameters such as blood pressure and electrolyte balance. It aims to elevate patient outcomes and operational efficiency through continuous oversight.

Currently operational in seven centers, this platform not only enhances patient safety but also optimizes administrative and clinical operations by allowing data-driven decisions. NephroPlus CEO Rohit Singh underscores the significance of continuous monitoring for reliable and safe dialysis care.
