WHO Africa Director Dr. Moeti to be in Cameroon from Feb 20-23

Dr. Matshidiso Rebecca Natalie Moeti (popularly called Matshidiso Moeti), the current Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Africa will be visiting Cameroon on February 20.
Dr. Matshidiso Moeti will be in Cameroon from February 20 to 23. Apart from taking stocks of health advancements in Cameroon, she will also visit several health facilities to check the current situation. She will also have discussions with key health actors in the country.
She was appointed to as the current Regional Head of WHO Regional Office for Africa on January 27, 2015, by the WHO's Executive Board, sitting at its 136th session, in Geneva, Switzerland. She replaced Dr. Luis Gomez Sambo of Angola, who served as the Director of AFRO from 2005 until 2015.
