Test of Spanish suspected hantavirus case was negative, health ministry says

​A ​Spanish ‌woman who was ​tested for hantavirus ‌after taking the same flight as a ‌patient who died from ‌the disease and displaying symptoms consistent ⁠with ​an infection ⁠has tested negative, Spain's ⁠health ministry said on Saturday.

The ​woman, who is ⁠in the Spanish province ⁠of ​Alicante, will be tested again ⁠as a precautionary measure, ⁠the ⁠ministry added.
