On Tuesday, Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the 'Tobacco-Free Himachal' campaign led by YouVAH at Lok Bhavan. The initiative will spread across all 12 districts to combat tobacco use through education and community involvement.
Governor Gupta emphasized the importance of raising youth awareness as a crucial step in curbing the rising problems of substance and tobacco addiction within society. He urged for collective social action alongside active youth involvement to cultivate a healthier future.
During the briefing, YouVAH detailed its ongoing mission, 'Youth for Rise-No to Drugs, Yes to Passion.' The organization shared insights into numerous outreach and educational initiatives designed to inspire youth toward a tobacco-free lifestyle and responsible citizenship.
