The event underscored a need for improved enforcement against the grey market and more robust public awareness initiatives.

Participants debated the misconception that vaping is a safer alternative to smoking, challenging claims resulting from industry-sponsored studies. Calls for adding vaping dangers to school curricula were made to educate children early and counter misinformation spread through social media and influencers.
