Girnale family was shocked to know that their kid Master Anush, who was suffering from liver disease, would not survive without liver transplantation.
Master Anush who had Biliary Atresia, a condition where biliary tube narrows down significantly causing progressive liver failure & was struggling in his day to day activity. He was not able to live his life to the fullest like another kid of his age. His parents were shuttling between Aurangabad & Pune since his birth in the hope that he would be cured of the disease. They had already spent almost their entire saving his medical expenses and were financially exhausted.
The high cost of the liver transplant dashed their hopes for saving the child. On hearing about a peripheral clinic conducted by Jupiter Hospital in Aurangabad, they came for inquiry. Here they meet Dr Gaurav Chaubal and the things changed for him. The hospital was charging just 10 per cent of the actual liver transplant expenses in the market. Initially, they were warry off some hidden charges but on getting satisfied they decided to get their son's surgery done.
Mrs Girnale was the donor for her son and now both are fit and fine. "It is not easy to perform a liver transplant in a paediatric patient. In Master Anush case as he had undergone previous surgery, it was much more difficult, still, we are happy that we could do Living Donor Liver Transplantation in him" said Dr Gaurav Chaubal.
