Around 250 diplomats of 56 countries practised Yoga in New Delhi

The International Day of Yoga on June 21 played a great glue of global fraternity - Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam - as 250 diplomates of 56 countries and 7 international organisations sit on mats under a roof in and practised Yoga in New Delhi.

"56 countries, 7 organisations, 250 diplomats on yoga mats," tweeted S. Jaishankar, India's Minister of Foreign Affairs. A special arrangement was made for 'diplomatic corps' for practising Yoga on the fifth International Day of Yoga 2019 at Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas building in Chanakyapuri area which houses all the diplomatic missions of foreign countries in India's national capital New Delhi. The event started at 8.30 am in which the diplomats of almost all the missions in India participated.
