At least 16 people have died over a period of three days and nearly a dozen others are being treated after the consumption of spurious liquor during Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in northwestern Bangladesh. "16 people have died so fare due to the consumption of spurious liquor. Some of them died at their home, some on their way to hospitals," a senior police official familiar with the tragedy told PTI over the phone
