Tel Aviv [Israel], July 20 (ANI/TPS): In a crucial endeavor to enhance national preparedness, Israel's Ministry of the Interior, alongside the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the National Emergency Authority, conducted an extensive 'war game' aimed at improving responses to a high-intensity multi-arena war. The exercise, spearheaded by Interior Minister Moshe Arbel and the Ministry's Director General Ronan Peretz, was organized in light of escalating threats from the Hezbollah terrorist organization in northern Israel.

The day-long exercise simulated a variety of potential scenarios that could unfold in northern Israel and across the nation, placing a strong emphasis on population absorption and the response to civilian needs. These simulations are critical for government officials to prepare for 'Order Day.' Ronan Peretz, Director General of the Ministry of the Interior, stated, 'We will meticulously execute every duty assigned to us by the government and more, abiding by their literal instructions.'

Director General Peretz further emphasized, 'In times of emergency, our ministry is committed to carrying out responsibilities beyond our formal mandates if they align with our capabilities. We will actively assist other ministries for the welfare of citizens, focusing on empowering local authorities to manage crises effectively.' This proactive approach underscores the Ministry's dedication to national and local resilience in the face of potential conflict.
