Mayank Joshi, the current High Commissioner of India to Jamaica, has been dual-accredited as the next High Commissioner to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. His residence will continue to be in Kingston.
Joshi, an officer from the 2003 batch of the Indian Foreign Service, is expected to assume his new responsibilities shortly, according to an official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The announcement underscores India's diplomatic reach in the Caribbean, with Joshi bringing nearly two decades of experience to his new role. (ANI)
