Trump pointed out the frequent leadership changes in India before Modi assumed office in 2014, describing the period as unstable.
During the hour-long podcast, Trump shared anecdotes about the 'Howdy Modi' event in Houston, Texas, in 2019, which celebrated Indian diaspora and the relationship between the U.S. and India. He recalled the stadium being packed with 80,000 enthusiastic attendees and emphasized the strong collaboration between the two countries under his and Modi’s leadership.
Trump also touched on international diplomacy, recounting conversations where Modi asserted India's capability to handle threats independently, particularly referencing situations involving Pakistan. Trump expressed that they share a solid bond, referring to Modi as a 'fantastic man', and suggesting that Modi’s leadership has significantly brought stability to India.
