The Australian Tibetan Youth Leadership and Advocacy Training commenced on Wednesday, attracting 30 young Tibetan participants from six regions across Australia. This event, crafted to hone leadership and advocacy skills, also aims to fortify their dedication to the Tibetan cause, organized by the Tibet Information Office.

The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) highlighted that the program began on February 12, 2025, at the Karuna Retreat Centre in the Blue Mountains, Australia. The workshop is a platform for participants to connect with key stakeholders like the CTA and Tibet Support Groups, enhancing strategic engagement in the Tibetan movement.

Tenzin Lekshay, CTA's spokesperson, delivered a keynote address urging young Tibetans to stay engaged in their cause. He acknowledged the support of prominent guests and emphasized the alliance between Tibetans and Aboriginal communities, showcasing the need for active participation in both the Tibetan movement and local councils.
