A 25-member team from the United States landed at Maharishi Valmiki Airport in Ayodhya on Saturday, expressing their enthusiastic anticipation to visit the Ram Lala idol and partake in the Saryu Aarti ceremony. The group, chanting 'Jai Shri Ram,' traveled by bus to the city, marking the start of their spiritual journey.
Following their stay in Ayodhya, the pilgrims are set to proceed to Prayagraj. There, they plan to immerse themselves in the holy waters of the Mahakumbh and offer prayers at the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple. A participant conveyed their daily devotion to Lord Ram and shared the profound joy of visiting the sacred Ram temple, expressing gratitude for the spiritual experience.
The influx of devotees to Ayodhya's Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple continued over the weekend, with significant numbers gathering after attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Worshippers take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam and then visit Ayodhya for prayers, while the Mahakumbh Mela stretches till February 26, drawing lakhs of devotees within the temple's vicinity.
In light of the increasing pilgrim numbers, authorities have implemented extensive measures to ensure safety and manage the crowd. Ayodhya SSP Rajkaran Nayyar highlighted the 24-hour security, crowd control, and traffic management efforts, emphasizing a smooth experience for all devotees. Ayodhya has been strategically divided into zones and sectors, with robust arrangements in place, including parking and lost-and-found centers, to accommodate the surge of worshippers seeking darshan during the Maha Kumbh.
