Nepal: 3.3 magnitude quake felt in Kathmandu

A mild 3.3-magnitude tremor was felt in Kathmandu on Tuesday, in an aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that devastated the country in April in 2015.

The tremor was recorded at 11:26 am with its epicentre around the local Thapathali area. The tremor was felt in and around Kathmandu Metropolitan City. According to the National Seismological Centre's chief Lok Bijay Adhikari, this was an aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that shook Nepal on April 25, 2015.
