In a reaffirmation of the United States' foreign policy, Vice President JD Vance declared that American troops will not be deployed in Gaza. Speaking from Kiryat Gat, Israel, Vance reiterated President Donald Trump’s consistent position on avoiding direct military intervention in the region.

Vance, on a diplomatic mission to Israel, emphasized the U.S. role in providing strategic coordination to uphold the fragile ceasefire. His arrival underscores concerns within the Trump administration about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's commitment to the agreement.

During his visit, Vance conducted a tour of the Kiryat Gat command center, in charge of ceasefire oversight. He engaged in high-level discussions with military leaders and will meet Prime Minister Netanyahu to convey President Trump's message of ensuring the truce endures. The emphasis remains on peace through partnership and dialogue, rather than combat.
