The third India-Kenya Defence Exhibition and Seminar is set to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from January 19 to 21, 2026. Leading a four-member Indian delegation, Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar will represent India's burgeoning defence manufacturing and export sector. This initiative falls under the Brand India scheme managed by the Department of Defence Production.

Notably, 20 Indian defence companies from the public and private sectors will be in attendance, showcasing a diverse array of defence products and services. This presence underscores India's expanding capabilities in indigenous defence manufacturing—a key focus area for both nations during the exhibition.

In addition to attending the event, Secretary Kumar will engage in bilateral meetings with Kenyan government officials and the Kenya Defence Forces to discuss ways to promote India's indigenous defence manufacturing prowess and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration. These efforts aim to deepen the already strong defence relations between India and Kenya.
