Lebanese authorities have confirmed that Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and southern regions claimed at least 15 lives and injured 15 more, according to the National News Agency. Hezbollah, recognized by the US as a terrorist organization, has launched retaliatory strikes on Israeli positions, signaling a new phase of heightened hostilities.

Reports from LBCI Lebanon News highlighted the departure of Russian aircraft carrying 117 Iranian nationals from Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport. Concurrently, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the attacks targeted a hotel in Beirut and locations in towns such as Jabal al-Batoum and Kafr Rumman, leading to further fatalities and widespread fear among displaced people.

The conflict sees Hezbollah targeting Israeli military sites with rockets and drones, while Israel strikes back, targeting key IRGC figures in Lebanon. As both sides escalate efforts, regional tensions rise with Iran launching missiles at Israeli and Jordanian sites, amid claims of retaliatory Iranian drone activities in Bahrain.
