In a persistent plea to the global community, Qatar has dispatched its ninth identical letter to the United Nations and the UN Security Council, warning of ongoing Iranian hostilities on Qatari soil. The Gulf nation urges immediate international focus on the rising tensions, apprehending the threats to its sovereignty and regional stability.

Addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Security Council President Michael Waltz, the letter stresses the recent events as egregious violations of Qatar's national sovereignty. Covering the span from February 28 to March 16, Qatar has reportedly intercepted multiple hostile aerial assaults, resulting in civilian injuries and what it describes as serious offenses.

Underlining the severity of the situation, Qatar affirms its right to self-defense, invoking Article 51 of the UN Charter, promising proportionate responses. Meanwhile, global leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, have echoed the call to shield civilian life and essential infrastructure from military escalation, underscoring the urgent need for international cooperation to prevent further destabilization in the region.
