In an interview with ANI, Green highlighted the potential for agricultural deals that respect India's farmers while promoting bilateral growth.

Green emphasized reciprocal advancements in recognizing professional qualifications and encouraged reducing tariffs to support economic exchange. According to Green, Australia's interest in tariff relaxation, specifically within the agricultural sector, aligns with India's focus on easing labor mobility for its citizens.

Reflecting on educational collaborations, Green praised India's decision to allow foreign universities, noting the historic graduation of Indian students from an Australian university in India. As the Indian diaspora in Australia surpasses a million, they are recognized for their economic and social contributions, ranking as the second-largest overseas-born group.
