Green noted Australia and India's strategic alignment through bilateral efforts and the Quad alliance as key factors in their relationship. He pointed to strong economic complementarities and the significant Indian diaspora in Australia as pillars supporting this partnership. Green expressed confidence in the enduring nature of these elements.

Additionally, Green shared his personal admiration for India's rich culture and diversity, having visited 21 states. He and his wife are impressed by the articulate and intellectual community in India, fostering discussions on various global issues. Indian-Australians form a vital living bridge between the nations, noted by Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
