The White House has distributed an official fact sheet outlining the pivotal results from US President Donald Trump's recent state visit to China. Major breakthroughs were achieved in bilateral trade, cross-border investments, and international security, particularly concerning Iran. However, notable within the document was the absence of any mention of Taiwan, despite extensive discussions between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the self-governed island.

According to the fact sheet, both nations have agreed to establish new institutional platforms such as the "US-China Board of Trade" and "US-China Board of Investment" to address and resolve ongoing economic and investment issues systematically. On the international security front, Trump and Xi concurred on Middle East tensions, particularly asserting that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons. They also advocated for reopening the Strait of Hormuz to ensure unimpeded global trade, opposing any toll demands from countries or organizations.

The White House confirmed President Trump's plans to host President Xi in Washington later this year, with both countries supporting each other's positions for hosting the upcoming G20 and APEC summits. The fact sheet further disclosed Beijing's commitment to alleviate US concerns over rare earth mineral shortages and China's approval of purchasing 200 Boeing aircraft, marking a vital financial boost to the US aviation sector. Additionally, over 400 American beef facilities regained market access in China, and restrictions on US poultry were lifted.

Despite promoting "strategic stability" and deepening economic ties, the lack of Taiwan coverage was conspicuous. Behind closed doors, Taiwan was a critical issue, with Xi warning Trump about potential conflicts over the island. Post-visit, Trump acknowledged Taiwan discussions but characterized US defense deals with Taiwan as potential negotiation leverage. The fact sheet emphasized a pledge for a "constructive relationship" based on "fairness and reciprocity" aimed at managing ties between the world's largest economies over the next three years.
