External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar participated in substantial discussions during the 'Gymnich' informal meeting of European Union Foreign Affairs Ministers in Cyprus. His engagements included talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha focusing on the Ukraine conflict, alongside conversations on bilateral cooperation between India and Ukraine.

In parallel, Jaishankar met with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to deliberate on the evolving geopolitical dynamics in the West Asia region. These strategic discussions reflect India's active role in addressing global challenges and enhancing diplomatic ties.

En route to Cyprus, Jaishankar made a stopover in Frankfurt, where he was updated on Indo-German relations by India's Ambassador Ajit V Gupte.
