China's CCTV says dammed lake near Nepal border is overflowing, rescue ops halted

​Chinese state ‌broadcaster CCTV warned ​on Friday that ‌a dammed lake upstream of the Gyirong border ‌port has begun to ‌overflow, adding fresh risks of flooding in ⁠the ​border ⁠regions of Nepal and ⁠Tibet that were already hit ​with a devastating flash ⁠flood earlier this ⁠week.

Rescue ​operations for the earlier flooding ⁠have been temporarily suspended, CCTV ⁠added.
