China raises Tibet mudslide death toll, 558 still missing

​China ‌on Friday ​raised the ‌death toll from a devastating mudslide that had ‌struck the border between ‌Tibet and Nepal earlier this ⁠week ​to ⁠five from three, Chinese state ⁠media reported.

The number ​of people reported ⁠missing on the ⁠Tibetan ​side of the border was ⁠unchanged at 558 as ⁠of ⁠3:00 p.m. Beijing time (0700 ‌GMT).
