Ukraine strikes Russian missile-carrying aircraft, Zelenskiy says

​Ukraine ​has ‌struck a ​Russian Tu-95MS missile-carrying ‌aircraft at the Engels base, President Volodymyr ‌Zelenskiy said on ‌Friday.

"These are the aircraft that ⁠are ​carrying ⁠out strikes against Ukraine," ⁠Zelenskiy said on ​X, adding the ⁠strike was carried out ⁠by ​the Alpha unit of ⁠Ukraine's SBU domestic ⁠security service.
