London stocks tick higher ahead of Warsh's Jackson Hole speech

UK stocks edged higher ‌on Friday as investors digested several corporate updates and awaited Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole symposium.

The blue-chip FTSE 100 rose 0.1% to 10,807,89 points by 1054 GMT, on course to end the week nearly flat. ‌The midcap FTSE 250 added 0.2% to 24,936.06 points, but was on track for a near 1% weekly gain.
