Orlen CEO says he is optimistic Azoty Polyolefins deal can be closed soon

Orlen CEO ​Ireneusz Fafara is optimistic ‌a deal ​to buy chemicals company Grupa Azoty's Polimery Police plant could be closed soon despite a legal ‌dispute with its joint venture partner.

Shares in Azoty fell as much as 5.2% on Thursday after a report that the dispute could jeopardise the ‌sale. They later recovered some losses, and by 1029 GMT were ‌down about 1%. ($1 = 3.7256 zlotys)
