US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-S&P 500, Nasdaq open higher as oil prices fall
The benchmark S&P 500 and the tech-heavy Nasdaq indexes opened slightly higher on Friday, while the Dow was flat as investors digested conflicting signals from lower oil prices and higher Treasury yields.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 48.7 points, or 0.09%, at the open to 51,826.78. The S&P 500 rose 19.4 points, or 0.25%, at the open to 7,657.17, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 103.8 points, or 0.39%, to 26,522.09.
