Qatar launches wealth-fund division for domestic investments

‌Qatar's Prime ​Minister Sheikh Mohammed ‌bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Sunday ‌announced the formation ‌of Doha Investment, a new ⁠division ​of ⁠the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) dedicated ⁠to developing ​the country's domestic investments.

The move ⁠represents a ⁠departure ​for a sovereign wealth ⁠fund long focused on ⁠building ⁠wealth overseas.
