Kremlin says US visa denial for deputy foreign minister is 'unfriendly' act

The ​Kremlin ‌said on ​Tuesday that the United ‌States had denied a visa to Russian Deputy Foreign ‌Minister Alexander Alimov ahead ‌of the UN General Assembly in New York, ⁠describing ​this ⁠as an unfriendly act.

Kremlin spokesman ⁠Dmitry Peskov said ​the move went against US ⁠obligations as the host ⁠country ​for the UN headquarters and Russia would ⁠raise the matter with ⁠Washington.
