Panama Canal increases daily capacity for Neopanamax vessels to 10 slots

The Panama Canal ‌Authority said on Monday it had ‌increased daily capacity for Neopanamax vessels to 10 ‌slots from the ‌previous nine.

The authority said in a statement that the increase was the result of "improving water conditions and favorable hydrological projections", and it also set the maximum authorized draft for vessels transiting through the Neopanamax locks at 14.94 meters until further notice.
