India approves 1.86 trillion rupees for renewable energy programme

​India's ‌cabinet has ​approved ‌1.86 trillion rupees ($19.42 billion) towards ‌a renewable ‌energy programme to help ⁠improve ​existing ⁠grids and ⁠bring in ​newer innovations, the country's ⁠information ⁠minister ​said on Wednesday.
