PepsiCo, Monster win court reprieve on use of 'energy drink' label

‌An Indian court ​on Tuesday put ‌on hold the food regulator's order to ‌stop PepsiCo and Monster ‌Beverage from using the "energy drink" label on ⁠their ​cans, ⁠according to a lawyer ⁠present at the hearing.

A June ​30 order from ⁠India's food safety regulator ⁠had directed ​makers of high-caffeine beverages ⁠sold as "energy drinks" to stop ⁠using ⁠the description.
