NHC says depression has developed into Tropical Storm Isaias
The US National Hurricane Center said in an advisory on Wednesday that a depression has now developed into Tropical Storm Isaias, which it expects to become a hurricane by Thursday.
Isaias was about 580 miles (935 km) southwest of the mouth of the Mississippi river, with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 km/h).
